Upon Completion, Participants will be able to:
Identify the most common presenting problems for middle schoolers
Explain how to modify interventions for a client’s developmental (not chronological) age
Confidently select and apply systemic interventions appropriate for each case
Make ethical decision related to common challenges in therapy with middle schoolers like therapy refusal, drugs and alcohol, and risky peer relationships
Assess for appropriate level of care for middle schoolers
